Multicolor TOURMALINE Elbaite crystal, Himalaya Mine Mesa Grande San Diego County California USA. This came out of an older collection and is probably from about 1958-1962. Unusual colors not normally seen for the locality. When the afternoon light hits this one from above and behind it almost looks like a rainbow (see first photo). One of my favorite Himalaya Mine tourmalines. This one is out of my longtime personal collection of San Diego County Gems and Minerals and its not often I let something out of that part of my collection.
