APACHE AGATE #6 "The Burning Man" MUSEUM Quality Agate specimen polished half nodule, vibrant oranges. This piece was previously in the Rice family collection, and traded to the cutters and polishers in exchange for cutting their agates. I think there is a facing slab from this agate in the Ignatowski collection. It is very rare to find a half nodule of Apache Agate in this quality. Most were sliced. Vibrant Oranges and yellows. The center has almost like a figure standing with his arms up in the air, and reminded me of the figure of the "Burning Man Festival" in Nevada, so i named it that. What looks like a fracture line, appears to be rehealed. This piece I acquired from my friend Walter, who was one of the cutters along with Maurice. I bought his entire Apache collection and it became the core of my Apache collection. You just don't see them like this anymore. Just killer.
