Red Pink Rubellite TOURMALINE crystals with/in Smoky QUARTZ crystal, Himalaya Mine Mesa Grande San Diego County California USA. This came out of an older collection and is probably from the late 1950s- early 1960s Ralph Potter era. This one is out of my longtime personal collection of San Diego County Gems and Minerals and its not often I let something out of that part of my collection.weighs 304 grams. The longest tourmaline measures just a hair over 2 inches long. I don't think it's ever been professionally cleaned by modern methods. See the video and the photos for best details. I've just acquired a larger matrix piece from the same mine, so am making this one available to other collectors. Worth alot more than what I am asking. I've seen pieces like this sell from $8,000- and up on the high end dealers websites. There's been alot of interest in this piece. I am listing it as an auction with no reserve starting at 99 cents.
