Purple blue cap watermelon Tourmaline from the Tourmaline Queen Mine at Pala California, dug ca 1973-1978. I got this out of a collection in England UK. Identical to pieces I personally saw in Byron Weeges personal collection in the early 1990s.  This type is quite rare to find from the locality.
