Large etched light Pink MORGANITE Beryl crystal on Albite var. Cleavelandite from the White Queen Mine at Pala, San Diego County, California USA. Dug by Dawson's likely in the 1960's or 1990. Locality is CLOSED and will never reopen as it is within the Pala Indian Reservation and they will not allow any mining. The White Queen on Hiriart Mt (along with the Vanderberg Mine) produced some of north America's finest Morganites. Some associated micro felted blue tourmaline as well. I don't think this has ever been professionally cleaned yet.
