GOLD in QUARTZ slab with Galena, "BONANZA GRADE ORE", from the famous SUNNYSIDE MINE, Sunnyside Mine group, Bonita Peak, Gladstone, Eureka Mining District, San Juan County, Colorado, USA.  Exceptional rich piece, and far better than average gold content compared to others, from the locality.  Weighs 19.7 grams and measures about 3.5 cm across longest dimension and about 6 mm thick, tapering at the edge on one side.   Most examples that you see from this mine have little specks of gold sprinkled in the quartz with alot of galena.  This one is saturated with gold.  A really fine example.
