Teepee Canyon AGATE large shaped and polished piece from South Dakota, USA, with provenance.. This piece was in the highly esteemed and famous Rock Currier collection and is documented at the following:

I acquired it in late 2020. Comes with the label shown. Rock labeled it as a Fairburn or from Fairburn, but it is actually Teepee Canyon. Though, Teepee Canyon is one of the the original host rock sources where the alluvial Fairburn agates found on the grasslands originated from and traveled by erosion and alluvial action. These are sometimes called Hills Agates or Black Hills Fairburns.
