TOP Black Crystal Gem Opal, polished, WRT Toni Fire Opal Mine Virgin Valley NV, BLM#NMC865636.  This is perhaps the best black opal that I have ever had.  It came out of the mine in about 2004-2006 and was dug by our agents who were doing assessment work on the mine for us.  It has been appraised at $3500.- to $5500.- per carat.  It weighs ______ carats and is kept wet in a water filled glass display dome.  Better than the "Black Peacock" in the Smithsonian and the "Anasazi" Opal (famous and valuable cut Virgin Valley Opals).  The only drawback is that it is wet, and has not been dried yet to see if it is stable.  Rainbow burning fire from all sides with full color spectrum.
