19 gr Hot Pink TOURMALINE crystal Stewart Mine Pala San Diego County California
Pink Tourmaline (Elbaite) crystal from the Stewart Lithia Mine, aka Stewart Gem Mine, at Pala, San Diego County, California USA. Terminated, with odd steplike growths in white, under partial clay, but not fully cleaned. Bright famous HOT "Pala Pink" color for which the Stewart Mine is famous, no other locality produces this very hot pink like this. Measures ______ and weighs 19 grams. From my personal San Diego County collection. I will be adding better photos shortly.
